How would you book Kofi to get him to main-event level

One of my favorite mid-carders in the E, I can't be the only one. We saw glimpses of potential for main event level superstar during his feud with Orton a few years back. He is pretty good in the ring and can talk when given the chance, how would you book him to get to the next level?

Let him go all out with his moveset and book him against a legitimately hated and intimidating heel that bullies him (you know, something beyond "I'm SOO great" with a cocky smile or "these people are stupid!"), but he doesn't back down from.

He's not good on the mic, but with his moveset and how good his babyface comebacks are he would get over with that (and did VS Orton a while back).

WWE's not big on heels that are over right now though.

Have him come out every time Ziggler is about to cash in MIB and stop him from cashing it in.

They then can feud over MIB. Kofi wins MIB and now is elevated.

Yeah, this. I don't see him as a maineventer at all. I guess a heel turn could help but that could be said about 99% of the faces on the roster
