Simple...you don't.

Too many cellphones, too many snitches.
Cancel culture would run amuck. 3 page think pieces, podcasts and videos denouncing the event

This sheriff's deputy was busted and suspended for a pic he took around 2001 :snoop:

The ATL Greek Picnic kinda became the successor to Freaknik.

Freaknik started off for college students on spring break. Was created by blacks Greeks from the DMV who were attending the AUC.

Became popular. Lots of non-university folks from all over started attending.

Then you started getting the violence and rape which was being perpetuated by the non-university crowd.

If we were to bring it back, it needs to stay relegated to students and alums. :yeshrug:

But I don't know, I feel like Afropunk kinda brings the fukkery like Feaknik but for the alternative crowd.

Black women hate Black men. Back then, there was genuine love for one another outside of the clown ass nikkas. The 2000s the was the last time you can have a Freaknik

Too much cameras and MeToo.
This!!!

As soon as too many Black people start congregating in one spot especially young Black folks in a party type atmosphere the White business owners start complaining.

This is not to mention everybody has a smartphone now and want to pull it out and document everything. A lot of fukkery would get recorded and people would end up losing jobs and all kinds of shyt.

This is not to mention the amount of fellas that don’t know how to take no for an answer and would end up with sexual battery type charges and stuff.

I don’t think it would work in this era.

We use to have a bootleg obviously much smaller version of it in local city around my way every spring and those White folks being White folks started complaining about kneegrows holding up traffic, being drunk, smoking weed out in the open etc and the local law enforcement soon shut that shyt completely down.

I'd never bring it back..why??

We're currently experiencing an overload of lewdness, ignorance and debauchery. Black culture has been placed in that box. Decency is something people don't even understand anymore.

Nkkas talkin bout "Me too" and "too many cameras"....Those should be the least of your worries. :mjlol:

Wit the proliferation of guns (ladders & switches), and drill culture/ratchet overall right now, shyt wouldn't be anything but a death trap. Wit that branding ("Freaknik"), the wolves are descending on ATL from everywhere, and u know what everyone is bringin wit em (:bustback:). I'd be all for it, but you're cappin if you think the culture of the 90s, is similar to today.

It's too many clout-chasin fakkits, wit demonic energy, runnin around. Back in the day, it was more about the "House Party", vibe of it. That's not even the culture today. :mjlol:
