I see nothing wrong with Drake as an MC, I just don't choose to listen to him.
I'm talking about the kind of person that is a fan of Drake. shyt Chingy even made a song I liked before, I'm talking about a person who checks for everything Drake does and defend him and have an emotionally vested interest in seeing him win.

So you're telling me that you don't have one person you check for that you would defend him and have an emotionally vested interest in seeing him win? For me, it was Malcolm X, Amos Wilson, Dr. Ben, Khalid Muhammed, Garvey...I can talk hours straight about these men.

I get where you're coming from, but to make an assumption about those kind of ppl that like Drake, you must already have a preconceived notion about the brotha without even knowing him personally...right or wrong

The only knock against Drake in my eyes is his message, It's not something that I would portray to the youth who predominantly buy there records. That's another story but I don't personalize it. You shouldn't neither.

For me it was 2Pac, but dude transcended music, he was a Black Leader. Drake is a fake that admits to not making socially conscious music because he can't relate to the struggle.

I agree with you on that...but fans are sheeps though these days. Their whole prospective on life is through the words of a modern day rapper who has a battery put in their backs to undermine the ppl that they are suppose to support and uplift. So, I'm with you on that. No arguments there.
