Rock/HHH also have what I believe is the best Iron Man Match they've done. The pace those two worked for an hour was incredible.

HHH/Austin was garbage. They had an okay match but it wasn't really that memorable outside of the Hunter walking around with a band aid on after he should have been dead etc.

Triple H/ The Rock. Feuded as midcarders over the intercontinental championship and then eventually over the world title as main eventers. They should have been the main event at Wrestlemania 2000 instead of the four way. Also started off with reverse roles as heel/face. The only way I would want to see Rock wrestle again is against Triple H at Wrestlemania. Yeah they're both :flabbynsick: but give us another match for old times sake.:flabbynsick:

It's really between Austin/Rock and Rock/HHH.

Austin/Rock always had that big time feel when they'd square off, but with HHH/Rock you could tell they legitimately didn't like each other, and it brought forth real good tension in their segments.

Austin/HHH is a clear number three.

#1 Rock/HHH
#2 Rock/Austin
#3 Austin/HHH

Rock and HHH are each other's best opponents IMO and their come ups are damn near identical and incredible.

Both start out with shytty gimmicks (Rocky Maivia and Helmsley) and feud for the IC Title.
Eventually they join factions and change up their gimmicks...night after WM 14, Rock takes over The Nation and HHH takes over DX...have a classic feud for the IC Title in the Summer. The SummerSlam ladder match turn them both into big stars and they both win World Titles a year later and feud over that as main eventers.:banderas:

What kills me is that Rock vs. HHH had the worst ending of the 3 with no payoff. HHH refusing to do the job 1 on 1 was disgusting.

Their last 3 matches where as followed..

KOTR 2000 - WWF championship decided in a 6 man tag match with Rock, Kane, Undertaker vs. HHH, Shane, and Vince.

Summerslam 2000 - Rock vs. HHH vs. Angle was good, but it never finished their story.

Armageddon 2000 8 man HIAC don't count

Raw 2002 - It was a rest hold fest and ends in DQ. Shame.

Granted the HHH 2001 injury probably had a hand in that as they where segwaying into a Rock vs. Austin & HHH feud. Two opponents that he never really got to beat on the big stage on his own merit till he beat a washed Austin in 2003.

I started watching in feb 2000 as a 7 year old so I might be biased but HHH/Rock was by far the best rivalry of the 3 :yeshrug:

So Cal
I was watching rock/hhh 2000 feud not too long ago and it got stale after a while. Had the crowd chanting "same ol bullshyt" at one point, which i didn't remember at all.

I think them filled by Rock and Austin though. To me, all 3 are each others to 2 opponents though.

1.) Austin/Rock- The two biggest stars of the Attitude Era, Main evented WM's 15 &17. Semi-Main at WM19 and probably would've been the main event for WM16 if Austin wasn't injured.

2.) Rock/HHH- Great feud because these two were rivals in real life, Rock is clearly the bigger star of the two, Hunter was good heel.

3.) Austin/HHH- Not a very memorable feud, IMO.
