how would you rate Rocky's technical expertise in the ring

overall in his prime, how would you rate the rock's technical wrestling skills

i mean he obviously is no bret hart or kurt angle

but he isn't hat 1 dimensional like many other wrestlers were

it wasn't that bad....although you can say he was more of an entertainer in the ring like he was out..although i think he was also one of the more athletic wrestlers..

Rock held his own in ring during his active days, not sure where the "he couldn't wrestle" shyt came from. Sure he was known for his promos but lets not act like Austin, Foley, Hunter, Taker, Angle, Brock etc went out and wrestled themselves to damn good matches and feuds.

i meaen in pure technical skill...the rock doesn't compete with guys like Bret or Shawn, but he definitely isn't bottom tier

As one of the biggest King Kurtis stans out there even I'm not sure if he's the best ever. He's certainly in the top tier (and I don't think anyone else has got to grips with the business so well and so quickly) but Benoit and Bret are certainly up there with him

yeah he was defintelly the most athletic, im sure he had the potential to be as technically skilled as shawn or bret...but maybe not? who knows

would you guys say that since the Rock had amazing natural athletic ability that he could compensate for lack of skill and still get by through his athleticism

why guys like shawn and bret, who are athletic, but not on the rock's level had to compensate by refining their skill...probably put more hours in the gym practicing moves then the rock
