Read the Holy Bible and get an understanding......That's not to be smart.....It's the truth. I can tell you all day, but you won't understand completely like you should. Every lesson that God wants you to learn is in the Bible. It's up to you to read and get the knowledge.

But I'll go ahead and give some of the answer to your question. There's many lessons that God wants us to learn, but one lesson in us giving money to the church is to show your belief and commitment to Him. That money should go toward helping people and church upkeep. It shows that you love people enough to give of what He's given you in the first place. What you have isn't really yours. It's His, and He's allowing you to use it on this earth to show what type of person you are. Believer or Unbeliever. The lives we lead will be reviewed as you enter either the Kingdom of God or eternal damnation after your life here is done.
