I think it's more classism to be honest. I spent a lot of time in Brazil, and there were just as many lighter shades in the favela, and they got treated just as bad as the dark shade. Richer blacks such as myself (when I didn't talk they wouldnt know) didn't seem to have a problem. They could tell I was a different breed by my attire and the way I carried myself. Money talks in latin america. You think a native looking dude with a suit and tie cash strapped is getting denied entry any where? nah. hell no. the poor natives would call him a play boy (what they call rich white folks) super quick.

Seems to be quite the same in Madagscar. My best friend was (RIP ) as black as guy from Central Africa but some in his family looked type indian, others type asian, all mixed to some extent.

Personally some of my best friends growing up have been multi-racial. They know they aren't 100% black but go through the same shyt and never "switch up." But that's just the real ass G's I know.
