You have a point there, no denying that. It's not going in on her so much as it is it feels like people feel like she deserves immunity from being subject to the same negative forces everyone else has to contend with. If a man's ugly he's just fukking ugly. I never called this woman ugly btw, but if someone were to hold that belief they are not entitled to their own opinion? Defaulting to her complexion immediatly just because some find her unattractive seems like a copout/ugly proof vest. There are unattractive people in every shade and bringing colorism into the conversation for nothing exasperates the divide and is disingenuous to say the least. Unnecessary divide and conquer techniques.

CO fukking Sign... and the chick in the pic aint even dark skinned... yes she's darker than all the light brites, yet she's actually brown skinned.

She's not ugly though and even if she is so what? A few of those light brights are not attractive in the least to me but I didn't come in this thread saying that, nor do I believe I its necessary to dehumanize them for that. People should learn to be respectful. I see ugly men and women getting wifed and hubbed everyday. Why does she not deserve respect because she's not attractive in some people's eyes?


And guyssss when I said only light skinnt men counted, I was being facetious. I'm for black women of every shade or weight.

True enough. I'm darker than her actually and would not necessarily consider her "dark skinned". I'm not mad about the picture or that she's not wifed up.. I'm offended and disgusted by some of the comments from so-called black men in this thread.
