Yes indeed sister brothers have thousand excuses when the balls on their side of the court. Lets not forget however, that the preference many black men have for lighter skin women is social conditioning. Im not criticizing brothers who date out or half breeds, but if you have preference to soleley date that, then you may want to do do some soul searching and investigate the reasoning behind it. At the very least you must acknowledge that your preference is ultimately rooted within the constructs of white supremacy. And this also must apply with the sisters. Ive seen many black women who have preference for mixed or lighter skinned guys and will completely disparage black men or dark skinned brothers.
Once a black person acknowledges their own social conditioning, then they must accept the fact that they are or have been co conspirators of white supremacy. And to be quite honest, we ALL are on some level, but that is another subject for another day.
