How y’all get y’all locs to….loc?

Initially two strand twists.

But now my hair is close to my cheeks and locs just by leaving it palm rolled for a few hours.

I’d suggest seeing a loctician first though. The first strands are the most important as they’re the base

I curl sponged it really tight, damn near looked like spikes in my shyt lol.

Got some locking gel, conditioner, and finger twisted myself.

I’m 5 weeks in. Some budding. I use a durag when I sleep so it doesn’t unravel.

My hair is soft & fine, so it’ll probably take 4 months or so. No washing it either
