Most women are short by default so it's to be expected. A woman's shortness isn't comparable to a man's shortness.
Men are usually taller than women but as we know that's not the case with a lot of guys.
My pops is 6'4 and my moms is taller than most average woman at 5'11. The average woman is around 5'6 and below. I'm 6'4. My sisters range in height from 5'9-6'0.
Women obviously like short guys because if they didn't short men wouldn't exist. The reason short men exist is because there are women who date and have sex with short men. If a man is short it's likely because his pops and mother were both short individuals.
My message to y'all short bruhs is to “get in where you fit in” meaning date a woman that's shorter than you or is identical in height to you.

Honestly from my experience it seems like tall women are less picky about height. The last girl I dated was 6 inches taller then me (I’m 5’5) and I‘ve seen plenty of short brehs with taller women as well.

Knowing it’s a non negotiable for you, why would a tall breh take on the monumental risk of procreating with you, possibly bringing forth a son who has a 50/50 chance he could be your height, who then has to be clowned his whole life for being a short man.

That's why I said a woman's shortness is not the same nor should be comparable to a man's shortness.
A man at 5'5 is considered below average (aka short) height.
I was just pointing out that 5'6 for a woman is above average height and the little formula is not always accurate.
I have a cousin who's around 6'2-6'3. His mom is probably 5'3 and his dad is 5'11, maybe even less. It's just a crap shoot, you never know.
