I still do it manually. I use iTunes but don't let iTunes organize it. I manually put it in the folders I want and bring it into iTunes for play. I make sure all my MP3s are tagged correctly. I also do weekly backups. I don't really play the singles shyt... my collection consists of albums. I got 250gb worth of music and growing... I ain't playin

I prefer downloading still as well. I dont like streaming services on my phone as that shyt can get interrupted despite me having unlimited data.

plus I got almost 1000 playlist in itunes, so I just sync whatever to my phone and do it that way.

I still buy CDs and vinyls 'cause I prefer a physical product but everything just gets ripped onto my laptop which then gets put onto my iPad/iPod which I keep in my car and play through my aux cable.

Once I rip the CD, it just goes onto my shelf with my CD and vinyls in my room. I don't use them after this point but it's looks cool and girls always comment on my collection when they see it :myman:

I do the same, I still buy a lot of cds that I really like, because I like to have a physical product and a music collection. My dad always let me hear his music collection which amazed me to start my own music collection, I have around 120 CDs and I have started a little vinyl collection recently. I also have Spotify but it doesn't hold up to the real music product for me:yeshrug:
Being 17 my peers make fun of me being old fashioned sometimes, but for me there's nothing better than a physical product. And yes, girls always comment on my collection too:myman:

Google play was giving me some problems but it's worth to be able to upload all the mixtapes and singles that are getting released constantly.

Everything on my laptop's iTunes
Everything on my iPod Touch 64GB for the go (used up all the gigs tho :sadcam:)
Spotify on phone and tablet in case I get an urge to hear something but I don't have it downloaded or it would be inconvenient to download it
Atrilli for up to date leaks
Kickass Torrents for old albums
Google search for rarer albums
Datpiff/Livemixtapes for mixtapes
Purchase music only from artists/albums I seriously fukk with, most of the time physical CDs or vinyls

:ohhh:

What about old shyt though :patrice: You must have mixtapes in your collection from years back which ain't on the Google Music Directory, can you add them to your library and mix the old with the new?

Yes sir, when you put them on your phone the mp3s sync up with Google Play Music. The gamechanger is when I saw they have very extensive Swishahouse/DJ Screw library on there...

Usually if there a new mixtape that's not on there I can get it on SoundCloud so the SoundCloud/Google Music combo have been good to me all year. It would be very hard to go back to downloading CDs at this point

Stream almost everything.
Only download if I want to put it on my iphone or its some obscure shyt I cant stream.

Years ago I used to D/L shyt and keep it organized, kinda nerdy so I just deleted it all for space since most of it was available on the net
