I went for the first time last winter...it is amaaaazing! I fell on my ass too much though.

I've made the mistake of going with seasoned vets without taking a lesson. My fault. I was sore in places I didn't even know I had muscles. I'm so clumsy, I can't f around and break some bones.

People not from here are usually really surprised, but it's a common native thing - if you grow up with little money. None of my family ever skid or boarded.

lmao. this is random but i just recall a few years back in NC around april. a girl was calling out to me on her bike for like a block or so. she stops me and asked "does this scarf look dumb?! it's too warm for it and i look stupid, don't i?! tell me, please!".

i just looked at her like if you have to ask and kept it moving.

I didn't feel it in my neck, but my stomach from doing that.
