When I went to Ferguson and saw the Mike Brown memorial, I didn't put 2 and 2 together to realize that was essentially a shrine to one our ancestors

I feel like everything about our culture was taken, but somehow we're still doing it without realizing it

I got to point out the part around 4:20 where the question he poses about whether or not you (as a black person in a position of influence) are actively working to collectively help blacks as a whole out are you just living for self is important... @marcuz posted a video with an interview between a doctor and cenk uygur talking about the ties that bind....we are only as good as the worst of us. #newblacks still don't grasp this: No matter how successful we get, we are still going to be seen as our worst, which is why those negro wake up calls are a running joke with c00ns and #newblacks alike...they can't reconcile the dissonance associated with being black and successful while burying their heads in the sand ignoring what the doctor above cites as a commoditization of our blackness (amongst other things).

From what you just described, I think one of my co-workers took his class this fall.

Dude was telling me, he had to write a couple of papers, and that they weren't graded.
