Man I wish Diddy could've came to my Louisiana Tech commencement.

Could've walked up there and recited Kiesha Cole verse from "Last Night"

Hit the:takedat: and diddy bopped off the stage.

The problem with the kids protesting Diddy at such a young age is they haven't lived life. This is the first time most of them have been away from the safety of their parents. They will soon learn as the years go by that there is a blurred line when it comes to morals. When they start working their 9-5 shifts and dealing with BS on the job, maybe they will think different about a person who put themself out there like Diddy has.
Diddy hasn't held a gun to anyone's head(except a few bottles :mjpls:) and made them do anything. Sure all his personal info has been in the media, but imagine those CEO's lives we just don't hear about. In this country it takes hustle and being able to sell your story to get ahead. Diddy is one of the best at doing that period.
as the saying goes, behind every great fortune is a great crime, sh!t america is built on the black of slavery. nobody getting ahead in this country without compromising morals. even the righteous. easy to point fingers at diddy but even bill gates and zuckerburg did some foul isht to get to their positions.

I think Harvard students might be up in arms about a bill gates or mark zuckerberg coming to commencement. They represent success on an alternate route which to me is a slap in the face to anyone who just put in the time, effort and money to get their degree. You're telling the student body 'your hardwork doesn't really matter cause you could have dropped out did what (drop out getting honorary degree) did to become wildly successful' and hey maybe they deserve honorary degrees because of the work they have done for humanity, but I can definitely understand the anger and frustration a few weeks from graduating college myself.

Let's be real, people don't drop out of school cause they have better ideas, they drop out of school, 90% of the time because it was too difficult to manage, so people get lucky and stumble on ideas, rare individuals, I think a commencement speaker is one who should be a successful alumni of the university with at least a bachelors, at that point in your life you want to see someone like you for reassurance

For real. It slap in the face at this particular time in the economy where college grads like myself would be blessed to make 30k coming out. I am not making 30K.

Yep, its just entertainment.

:ohhh: Yoooooooooooooooo...

Never seen this photo.

people get lucky...

Luck is such a small factor if any at all... Uber, multi-millionaire Entrepreneurs use people, ideas, systems, institutions, schematics, shrewd business tactics, dogged persistence, other people's money and ingenuity to build an empire.

To boil is all down by saying luck and ideas is trivializing.

Yeah I could understand people bein mad about it,dont see them as c00ns for feeling that way if him not graduating is the reason....Some people want that reassurance from a actual graduate like you said. But im sure a lot of people just wanna see the biggest celebrity they can and to be entertained,i dont like Diddy as a Pac stan:pachaha:....but it dont get much bigger than him celebrity wise....nikkas just wanna meet Diddy and take pictures, and I cant say they wrong either tbh.....maybe they know that no matter who talks to them and gives them a pretty speech they degree will either mean something or it wont,or maybe Diddy is hope that if your degree is useless to you for whatever reason maybe you can still be successful in life:ohlawd:...So I can understand a student seeing it either way,the university is just weird imo letting a non graduate speak:patrice:...especially a controversial one thats loved but also very hated by many for whatever reason...but its probably a reason to hate everybody who speaks at these things

I don't see how his rap albums are "destructive elements." If so, it is those who cannot separate fiction from reality. If I listen to a hip hop album, it's just entertainment for me.

As far as the alcoholic beverages, what does Puffy do that is "destructive" compared to Bernard Arnault at LVMH? Especially since Hennessy & Moet has been a staple with hip hop for decades

The issue isn't him dropping out. It is what he represents as a man. Unmarried, 6 kids (5 biological), 3 baby mommas, infamous for shady business practices (don't know how true that is), and his wealth was amassed through destructive elements. I, personally, have no gripe with Diddy but I can see how a decent student can be up-in-arms about him speaking.
U damn near described Donald trump to a t. U nikkas and ur poisoned logic at work again
