Trippy. Nice, balanced mix. Main snare sounds dope. I like the varied percussion sounds throughout. Makes the track really sound like its evolving as opposed to the first 10 seconds looped over and over like so many tracks i hear. Nothing really sounds out of place. This is some shyt i can smoke a blunt and vibe out to on some random shyt.

I wish i understood sidechaining and various other things to help in the mix.

i tried it two nights ago on a beat im working on now, but i couldnt quite hear a difference so i feel like i did it wrong/backwards. im gonna try again when i get back to that beat, and post my results for feedback here.

I never use side-chaining to be honest.
Have tried it a couple of times but the beat always came out doper to me witouth the music ducking the kicks. :manny:

It really depends on you're style. Sidechaining the bass opens up my style to a different level. And also opens up my percussion

I'm a novice when it comes to mixing so I can't offer any tips on that. Thats the joy of using dusty ass samples to me, they can stay sounding that way lol....
I do like the track though.
