HTC One M8 Prime Rumored Specs

Last year’s flagship HTC One smartphone was later joined by a supersized HTC One max phablet, but the gigantic handset didn’t seem to gain much traction in a market dominated by the Galaxy Note 3 and other massive Samsung phones. The struggling smartphone maker is finally seeing some momentum thanks to its new HTC One (M8) flagship phone though, and it will apparently soon look to build on that momentum with a phablet currently being referred to as the “HTC One (M8) Prime.”

According to a new report from Japanese-language HTC fan blog HTCSoku, the company’s upcoming M8 Prime will be a high-end phablet with specs that could give the competition a serious run for its money.

The report claims that HTC One (M8) Prime specs include a 5.5-inch quad HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) display, a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a USB 3.0 port and a brand new 18-megapixel version of HTC’s Duo Camera, which debuted on the HTC One (M8).

None of this is confirmed, of course, and it could still be some time before the supposed HTC One (M8) Prime actually debuts. HTC’s next flagship unveiling is rumored to be a new mini version of the M8.

Damn glad I waited but now I'm torn. I rock two phones (one for business, other personal) and I usually go with the flagship device while the other is the phablet (currently the HTC one and note 2). With the prime coming out (HTC and Samsung)and the LG G3 it's going to be a toss up. I'm holding off to June
