They are equal until you start to use multi window, the camera and some of the other S features

See once again Samsung fanboys act like the One don't have features that GS4 don't have. Camara is a toss up. The One has boomsound, Zoe, Blinkfeed etc. Thats why I said about equal because its all subjective.

Just ordered a HTC One. None of the local stores had one so I ordered online. Should be here Tuesday.

I had a Blackberry from 2003-2010
I had an iPhone from 2010-2013
Quick flirtation with a Nokia N95 in 2008.

This will be my first Android phone.*

I'm heavily invested in the iPhone ecosystem. Have a iPad, iPad mini, and a 4s (smashed it). So I'm a little nervous. Not being able to use my iCloud Notes that synch across my Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone. Also a few of the apps.

Hope I'm not disappointed.

Ive made up my mind..I was really listening to the arguments for the HTC One this week. Dudes were so happy about it and with the tagline of "Greatest Android phone ever" being tossed around, I had to investigate on my own because that is my nature. Still...when it came down to it, I can't justify having a 2013 device with no spare battery option and no upgradable storage. It's just not smart and feasible for someone who ends up in the situations I do. I gotta go with that S4. We all get to eat no matter what...so it's all good.

I was debating between the S4 and the HTC One too. For me it came down to build quality. The battery wasn't an issue because I'm not the type of person to carry an extra battery around. And 32gb is enough since most of my mobile consumption is with my iPad or iPad mini.

Definitely post your thoughts on the S4 though after you get it. I have 30 days to jump ship to that.

I like having a charged up battery in my car or rental car when Im on a trip. Just makes sense after a few weird fiascos in the past. Monday is when they sell on the website..Fed Ex should get it to me by Wednesday at most unless I make them do a overnight.

Had you gotten a Note 2 you could have thrown your Ipad, Ipad mini, and Iphone in the bushes. But now you'll have to carry around your HTC One L, ipad mini, ipad, laptop, thermomter, pocket protector, and whatever other idevice you nerds like to lug around. :pachaha:

I thought was I was gonna order it Monday but apparently the store credit would take over a month or two to apply it. I thought it was coming out May 30th at the stores but apparently it's coming out May 1st at like two stores and I got this one happy motherfukker to reserve me one with the in store credit to boot. It's all good in Sin City.

galaxy s4 is better by a lil bit
the S4 has more features than the HTC One. people talking about build quality my phone is always in an otter box when i own it so i couldn't care less if its made of uni-body aluminium or plastic.

from having an iPhone 5 with 32 GBs of storage and no option for more to me that's a deal breaker going forward. i'd either have to do 64 GBs or have an SD slot. i mean you think 32 GBs is a lot but apps, videos, and music share that and eat it up quick. i got under 2 GBs free on my phone and could fill it easily if i had everything i wanted on it.

Note 2 is still the best Android phone out sorry. The one is hot garbage. S4 is cool, but it's no Galaxy Note 2

:whoa:

Most reviews calling the htc one the best phone on the market...not everyone wants a giant Phablet in their pocket I'm fine with my ipad and htc one combo

There is a 1/2 inch size difference between the two phones, plus the note 2 is lighter

I guess I can't knock it unless I've used it and held it but I didn't like the touch wiz for my s3 it was kind of buggy and it was cartoony...kept having battery issues or some glitch and it killed my sd card.
