Nexus 4 is not better than the One XL, GS3, LG Optimus G and a few other phones.
You are exposing yourself as a fanboy

The Nexus 4 has a Quad Core compared to the One XL and GS III in the U.S. The GS III and One XL do have advantages tho with expandable storage and removable battery (GS III), but raw power? The Nexus 4 is better and is a great choice when put on T-Mobile's network. I don't think people realize how fast their HSPA+ network is. The other morning I was reaching almost 10 down on my tablet...that is fast enough for anyone's needs

The Optimus G is a beast and has the edge because of the LTE AND Quad Core

The Nexus 4 has the better processor. That is about it. I linked reviews that show The One X and GS3 are all better reviewed than the N4 and all those devices were released the same year. I guess all those sites are fanboys too?

N4 is a good phone but it's definitely overrated.

I never put much stock into reviews tbh, but the fact is that you came out and stated that the XL and GS3 are better because they are better reviewed overall? The processor is the heart of the damn device...how is that to be overlooked on your part? The GS III has a shytty build design as well, COSTS more and yet feels less durable than the Nexus 4. The camera argument you were going crazy over before really doesnt hold much weight because 99% of the time people are uploading those pictures up to facebook or instagram which compresses the images. If you really want to go all out on a camera, then take a look at the Lumia 920.

Also about reviews, do you realize that the iPhone is also a highly reviewed line yet the shyt is really just midrange compared to top android, WP8, and even the new blackberry z10? Explain that one to me. 99% of those reviews are BS most of the time. I agreed with the Verge in giving the Galaxy S IV a 5 in design, but them glossing over the fact that the One only has 4.1 over 4.2 on the GS IV is a bit annoying.

NO Phone is perfect, but I would put the Nexus 4 above the XL and slightly ahead of the GS III

The processor is the heart of the device however both the GS3 and One XL have good processors and run very well. You are acting like the N4 MUST be better due to the processor which is nonsense.

The GS3 and One X also have LTE, good cameras, good build quality compared to the N4 and OEM additions that are on par or better than what is offered in stock Android. I will take all that over being able load Chrome a fraction of a second to a second faster... SMH!

Also, I could care less about what you think of reviews. The fact is that journalist rated the ONE X and GS3 higher than the N4. This is not debatable. They all mostly concluded that the N4 is inferior to the phones I listed.

The GS III and good build quality do not belong in the same sentence. The CPU is more important than anything else in mobile as it prolongs the life of the device and can allow for porting in the future. Can you imagine how :flabbynsick: the One XL and GS 3 are going to feel when we see 8 core processors?

At least the Nexus 4 will have that Quad...it will still have a camera to take your facebok/twitter pics...it SHOULD be able to get updated to the later versions of Android due to that fact over the XL and GS III (US Version). Need a new launcher, keybooard, or other apps for more options? You can get almost anything you need from the play store....and having the later versions of android helps with that. The Nexus 4 has great download speeds if you are on the right network as well.

So lets see here:
Quad Core + 2GB RAM
NETWORK UNLOCKED which means FREEDOM
Huge developer community + Latest updates of Android from google
1280x768 display
HSPA+

All of that, for $300? You gotta be shytting me if you think as an overall package the XL or GS III are seeing that at launch. The biggest problem I have with THe 4? SD Card slot and removable battery are missing, I am willing to forgive Google if they release a Nexus 5 with an SD Card slot for that one. Also, you shouldn't really put too much stock into reviews...are you new to this? You are starting to remind me of the folks who kept arguing that the iPhone 4 was better than the EVO and Epic 4G due to small features you find more important than the big picture. ALL these phones are high end devices, but the questions start to emerge...what are the advantages? The Nexus 4 has plenty and will be supported by google directly for years to come and XDA forever along with carrier freedom, who can touch that? If Google and LG can cook up something with the build quality and looks of the HTC One for $300-$350? SHIEEEEET MAN, Game over IMO and would make samsung look even worse for releasing the Galaxy S IV that looks like it should be sold @ Toys R Us

we all know what side of the iPhone vs EVO/EPIC argument won, isn't that right Jenkins? Shoutout to @GoldenGlove :win:

fukk what that dude talking about...I came from a gs3 to a nexus 4....the nexus 4 is the better phone. Sure I don't have SD card or removable battery...and I STILL like the nexus 4 more. The overral performance of the phone trumps it....that's the most important thing to me period. I'll take the slightly less impressive camera.

Not to mention...my gs3 destroyed my only 32 gig SD card...I'd be scared to put another one in there so that makes it null and void lol

After putting it in my gs3...after like 3 weeks it didn't show up on my device..kept getting errors. I'd restart and it show up again. This went on for a couple days until even a restart and pull didn't make it show up. I take it out and try using it in my oc or other devices...doesn't work at all anymore.

I Google this problem...turns out its a pretty common problem with gs3's. I was scared to use any other card in there as a result...I wouldn't dare to put my 64 gig in there.
