thats why HTC is losing. They dont update their phone :childplease:

HTC EVO 3D= abandoned
GS2= runnign jelly bean 4.1.2 :tu:

Both released in 2011

The Sensation/ EVO 3D couldn't handle jelly bean.

They don't have enough memory..

That won't be a problem with the One however :stopitslime:

and GS2 had enough memory right. So you're admitting that samsung made better device than HTC

HTC debuted in feb and is still running 4.1.2 3 months later

Things evolve.

I think the One is a great phone and I'm thoroughly enjoying it..

HTC is up against the 8ball. I think they will learn from their past mistakes

I'm a phone enthusiast. I've owned pretty much a variety of one flagship phone or another since 1999 when I had a Motorola Startac with Sprint on their brand new CDMA network (worked at circuit city at the time, in highschool). One of Samsungs first the SGH-500 also Sprint. I owned a Nokia 8810. A Nokia 6110 Ultra. Both through 'Bell' (now Verizon???) I believe.

The first color phone on Nextel the i95. The first Blackberry's on Nextel the 7510 and 7520. The great Blackberry Bold's 1&2. Even the BB Pearl and the 8800. I even dropped major loot on an unlocked Nokia N95 8GB. Also the iPhone 3G, 4, and 4S.

The HTC One is the best cell phone I have ever used. Even when we consider the context of time and available technology. :skip:

The build alone makes it so. The gimmicks on the S4 aren't enough to overcome the build quality of the HTC One. :win:

Lol thats mad easy to say when the last "modern" phone you had was a iphone. Iphone has been left since the 4 in my eyes let alone a 4s.

The best phones ive ever owned relative to their times are.

Iphone 3gs
Palm treo 650
The original sidekick
Nexus 4

...your not really saying much if your last phone before the one was a 4s...just saying.

Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. HTC One: Full Comparison - YouTube

Looks like Samsung beats HTC again as far as connecting to LTE :smh:

That's the most annoying part of my EVOLTE when compared to the GS3 that my wife has. It finds and latches on to LTE quicker and from what he says in the comparison that seems to be the case again with these two devices.

He picked the HTC One by the way though.

shyt good looking b..

but with this root its basic so when they drop OTA updates ill have to unroot first or nah?

You owned a Sidekick. The phone for Tweens. While i was rocking the latest and greatest Blackberry of the moment and a Nokia N95 8GB. Youre going to knock me for an iphone? You owned the cell phone equivalent of the Ed hardy tshirt.

The best phone at the time?

sidekick breh? :heh: with the cartoon people on the menus? The sidekick may have been the fashionable thing to have at that time but as far as technology of the era = doo doo. I was installing .Jar files / apps while you were doing what on that thing? The iPhone 4S is a much less embarrassing thing to have technology wise in this era than the teenage girl targeted sidekick was in its era.

Was yours Pink?

Can't really respect anything you have to say about phones.

When the OTAs come out there will be rooted versions released as well.

You'll still have Stock Sense, you'll just get Root access which allows you to do a lot more with the device.

The earlier you root the better, because everytime they drop an OTA in the future it'll be harder to root the device. Might as well do it now and get it out of the way. Dude puts all that you need in the description and it's an easy step by step process.

Oh, and after you root NEVER install the OTAs. Just install the rooted version of it which will give you the same experience without losing root access.

The speakers on the HTC one are loud as fukk, got to play with one and it's a really nice phone.

Id like to hear in person. I am going into the store, downloading datpiff or my mixtapes, then I will walk away slowly and out the store while the store gets that trap god 2 treatment :laff:
