no he wasn't, UConn used an assistant he fired to trump up bogus allegations on him because they wanted to fire him and get out of that contract. He was tanking the program(being in the AAC didn't help), no coach who is winning games is getting fired because they had players working out with his personal trainer or a recruit taking a call with Ray Allen during a visit. That's why he sued UConn and they ended up having to pay out his contract plus damages.

Duke won 2 titles in the 2010s and went to several s16, and elite 8s, with a crazy amount of lottery picks. I surely hope youre joking when comparing both programs bc duke far and away ruled the 2010s, along with KU, Villanova and UK.

Got out of the first weekend once.
2018 - NCAA 2 seed
2019 - NCAA 1 seed, won ACC
2020- COVID year. I'll give him a pass, though they weren't playing well in general
2021- NCAA 8 seed
Completely respectable. The tail end of it looks like more a function of Roy not adjusting to the changing times than anything inherent with UNC.
