Man I used to read sites like huff post, very smart brothas, and the root but something was always so off about the content. I was never able to put my finger on it because the articles would sound like us talking but the stances they took and what they asked the reader to take away from the articles were totally not us. I’m glad these outlets are being exposed because people who are not exposed to African Americans will be fooled into believing that the sentiments these publications champion belong to the Black community. They had me fooled for a couple articles but I could quickly tell it was some off brand shyt. They shyt on us in a very coded and passive way...

:patrice: huffington post is a left leaning progressive outlet, if anybody had black writers it would be them.

I kinda want to start a news site aimed explicitly at white people, but with all Black employees that write articles that subtlety preach politics that's against white interests :patrice:

BTW, Huffington Post was co-created by Andrew Breitbart. Yeah...THAT Breitbart. Ariana Huffington was also a pioneer in using unpaid labor for her website. She actually convinced people to write articles for her website for free just so they could put that they were published in the Huffington Post on their résumé. It actually worked, and the rest of the industry started following the same model.

Straight Black Men were too busy buying du rags which is a the official flag of toxic masculinity

Then they’ll hit you with...

“White women staff Huff Post’s Black voices due to the fact that Black men would prefer sharing scantily clad imagery of Black women on the Coli than to talk about rape culture in their community.” #objectification #blackwomenarepeopletoo #wearewithterry
