I get the general gist of what she is saying & it is true.

I know plenty of other black women who feel the same way.It could have been worded a little more "gently," so it would translate well,but hey she decided to be blunt about it.Over all, black men don't value black women.Of course black men are not going to agree with this because they can't handle facing the truth.

I don't know by what standard "some" women want to be valued, but women are variously valued different and the standard is subjective. In truth black men value black women highest in the world so if we are judging by that standard, everything is fine. Now if we are judging by the standard of one resentful women, nothing but perfection will do. In my parent's country, black men are with black women like 99% of the time so it's not an issue.

Of couse in the interest of pro-blackness, we can and should advocate better. And I do.

Black men have an obsession with anything but a black woman.They are obsessed with "other."It's in the culture,just listen to the music.The music shouts out anything but a black woman.It's the general theme.A perfect example of this is Trey Song'z "Foreign."Chris Brown has a line in this one song that says "You nikkas mad cause you fukking with them regular hoes. And ain't none better than my asian." Who is "regular," here?& More importantly,what other race of male artists boast about having "other," race of women on their arm.& Then there's the songs that deliberately diss black women. There's so many examples of this, the list goes on & on.& What's ironic about this is, is you will never hear any black female aritsts dissing black men in any,way,shape,or form.They will not diss black men for the skin tone,etc.No race or gender does this except for black men.
