The way society is today with social media/ networking I think hugs in general are on the decline anyway.
I remember a survey I heard about saying like 75% of high school kids would prefer being on Facebook or twitter than hanging out with friends or going to the prom.....not sure what that means but it makes me sound smart when I tell people that
