Bischoff looking for ways to make a profit out of this death for sure. Probably gonna change the whole show as a MAGA tribute to Hogan so that shyt can start selling some tickets (it has bombed so far) :mjlol:
Hopefully no more Real American Beer commercials or sponsorship. We must respect the dead. :troll:

look, Macho mans death hurt me more than hulks. Newjacks death too, hell fukking even Grandmaster Sexay's passing hurt me more than hulks. :mjcry:

Hulk brought this negativity onto himself. His bullshyt contract stipulations, his ruining of the NWO, the racism shyt, etc.

I ain't going to shed a tear on hulks death because there are far more wrestlers who had an impact on my childhood than him.

:blessed:

Breh I was messed up when New Jack died and dude was a entire demon, but had a conscience. Something that Hoegan truly didn't have at all. At least with Jack, dude gave wisdom to the wrestling game by exposing the frauds and racists.

In my eye, he was a breh that got the wrong hand of cards but managed to win the game of life despite the odds going against him from birth to last days.

Hulk Hogan was one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, nobody is denying that

But he literally said “I’m racist to a point, fukking n*****s”

And spent his last years sucking Trump’s dikk

So yes, his impact in the ring is undeniable but he ruined his own legacy the last 10 years, you can’t expect fans to not feel some way about his actions.
You are right but y’all do this with every wrestler that dies. I’m almost certain there hasn’t been one wrestler death thread where people were not claiming they were racsit

I’m sure when Austin dies they will say the same about him
When the rock dies they will say he wasn’t black enough and don’t honor his black side
HHH
HBK etc.

Free daps & reps... Wow a tough crowd

Tbh, I don't wish death on no one. I can understand the hate for the comments he made 10 years ago especially being black. It's a slap in the face to the kids like me growing up who watched Hogan throughout the 80's & 90's.

Hogan really damaged his legacy to the point that every time he showed up in arenas he was unceremoniously booed out the building. That RAW show in California was Jesus...
A lot of us black/brown kids loved wrestling growing up. That’s the fukked up part of it.

Died about ten years to the day of the tapes leaking. Sensational. :wow:

HOGAN WAS THE THIRD MAN AGAIN!!!! :damn:

"They were going to kill Ric today. I told the devil, with all due respect, he's not WWF from head to toe. It's in my blood. I mean, I'm the guy. And I knew that the headlines would make my death the most impactful, brother. Now nobody will ever bring up the time I got caught saying things about the ni......the bla.........what's the right term? I don't know, those people."

Just because someone was a major factor in the medium we like to watch doesn’t absolve him from criticism, especially when saying things so deeply offensive.

A good number of people did like him until that bullshyt. This post comes across acting like we should kiss the ring regardless of his racist rant. Thats almost as bad as those cacs who still celebrate Chris Benoit after knowing he killed his wife and kid.

What's crazy is that if Hogan nailed the apology in 2018 and showed that he wasn't the guy you heard on the tapes, he would have reclaimed his legendary status. Everyone would have brushed it off as a mistake, and when he was reinstated, that's exactly what people were trying to do.

But then he doubled down on being a piece of shyt in every way (criticizing the younger wrestlers for not embracing him, supporting Trump) and the current culture found out how much dirt he did back in the day and couldn't associate him with anything outside of that. His lasting legacy will be "That doesn't work for me, brother," "somebody get my wife and kids on the phone," and "I'm racist to a point."
