What's crazy is that if Hogan nailed the apology in 2018 and showed that he wasn't the guy you heard on the tapes, he would have reclaimed his legendary status. Everyone would have brushed it off as a mistake, and when he was reinstated, that's exactly what people were trying to do.
But then he doubled down on being a piece of shyt in every way (criticizing the younger wrestlers for not embracing him, supporting Trump) and the current culture found out how much dirt he did back in the day and couldn't associate him with anything outside of that. His lasting legacy will be "That doesn't work for me, brother," "somebody get my wife and kids on the phone," and "I'm racist to a point."
It wasnt just the racist stuff the stuff with Jessie and wrestler unionized always pop up from time to time. Jarrett just had a podcast about Hogan being in TNA was all about the money and people saw that at the time. The constant lying about everything when people had legit receipts and would put him on blast about his lying too and he would keep on lying
you bring up the Trump stuff remind me of one of his last bull bull lies stupidness talking about bodyslaming kamala harris and then saying it was the alcohol fault for him saying that.
