I know people say separate the artist from the art, but Hogan did too many irredeemable things to get the respects from many. I won't forget his contribution to wrestling and wrestling wouldn't reach the heights it did without but it's still fukk him. It's hard to look the other way when it comes to racist and he did way too many racist things regarding black people. Also, also of the racist things he did is recent, so it's very hard to show respects for him. Like we had this guy saying stuff like he will body slam Kamala Harris, dikkriding Trump, treating black workers poorly, and other things. All of those things happened within a year. I don't think time will heal these wounds because black fans had to deal with many giving him passes for years until he started to openly support Trump.
