Nash disappointed me with that response. I get that he was friends with Hogan, he's lost a lot of close ones in the last few years (including his son), and he's hurt. But why does he have to tell the anti-Hogan crowd how to feel? That's the issue I have with a lot of people who want to celebrate Hogan's legacy or express their condolences. They can't just leave it at that. They have to try and make excuses for the last ten years of his life.

I thought Maven's response was better. He chose to acknowledge Hogan's legacy and express his condolences, but he also acknowledged that a lot of people aren't going to feel that way and he said they have every right to.

This guy has always seemed weird to me. I think the overall messaging of preventing gym shaming is good, but he takes a very bizarre cadence when he talks about women like calling them "sweetheart" and "cupcake" when he does it. Like talking down more to women than he does men.

The Nash ordeal is based off of his emotions. The man clearly didn't grieve and TBF, he did lose a lot of close friends and his son. Yet, he need to understand the other side of the coin. While him, Hoegan, and the contract manipulators were getting pay days left and right while not working, there were heads having to deal with the politics behind the scenes.

Because Nash can drink wine and watch some old ass movie on Laserdisc in his fancy crib, there's a black fan or two having to find out the hard truth about Hoegan. Dude clearly didn't read the room, or see the reality of what Hoegan stood for. This man was truly a giant piece of dog shyt that somehow tricked the world to see that he's the GOAT, when he's basically started losing steam near the end of the 80s.

Dude was never a Bruno that had the crowd jumping for almost two decades, and he damn sure wasn't Inoki having mofos falling out like MJ. The man was gifted with opportunity from a desperate son of a promoter, the ability to steal from Billy Graham, and spew the bullshyt he wasn't even standing by to get the prototype of MAGAts and marks to believ in his own shyt.

The guy died with malice in his heart because his daughter wanted to be with a black man. To hell with Hoegan and shame on Nash for not reading the fukking room.
