Why are people caring about the impact of the business from Hogan? Do y'all work in wrestling? "Wrestling wouldn't be where it's at if it wasn't for him" sounds goofy
Fans on a certain brand of wrestling have to convince themselves everything started mainstream with WWF/WWE.

Man, it's gonna be worst when Vince go.
I keep seeing this take but it's not the case at all. People aren't really seeing the entire scope of why Hogan is so hated

Vince is hated by plenty, but it's overwhelmingly confined to wrestling spaces. Hogan was one of the most famous people in the world and transcended wrestling, and that outsized group of fans has been hearing bad Hogan stories for decades at this point

We could reasonably assume that Vince is as racist as Hogan, but Vince don't have an audio of him confirming his racism minutes after fukkin his best friend's wife:mjlol: If you were to put a "I'm a bad person" resume on LinkedIn you could use that alone:mjlol:

That's not even mentioning the Nick situation, or the sea of "That's not gonna work for me brother" stories, his estranged daughter, and on and on. Hogan's public reputation is far worse than Vince's

Even for the foul shyt Vince has done one huge thing he has in his favor is the commonly repeated "Vince don't care what color you are, if he believes it he'll give you the push. Vince only sees green" Stories like that go a long way even in the midst of bad shyt

Ultimately I think a lot of people really don't understand how much that tape fukked up Hogan's reputation. Nikkas act like it wasn't a big deal but to a lot of us racism is the biggest deal. I can acknowledge the contributions and accomplishments and still be like :manny: fukk him

If Vince had a tape like the Hogan tape he'd be in the same boat but he don't. So far the biggest stain on Vince's name right now is being a freaky ass old man. Racism beats that in a landslide:mjlol:

Oh my brother, they're in shambles. I ain't digging through all that.

Some Canadian and a Mod taking shots at the Coli, unless there's another "black forum" shiiting on this MF at almost 100% so that alone was worth it. :mjlol:

That's not even up for debate, because wrestling wouldn't be where it is now if not for the Rock & Wrestling connection. Hate him all you want, but Vince turned wrestling into a mainstream billion dollar business. He's the one that saw where TV was headed while the territory promoters wanted to keep things the way they were.

Man, it's gonna be worst when Vince go.

OJ did that shyt :mjlol:
But, what's fukked up is that the Bubba the love sponge tape wasn't even the worst thing he said about Black people.

New article, but, I heard about the stuff about his jail calls to his son leaking like last year.

Then a reddit post ran me into this tweet.

Hulk didn't just spill up and say "N&gger" because his daugther dated a breh, he hated black people on a deep level.

And his "apology" ain't enough for a lot of people.

I stop the line at cheering on his death :hubie:

We'll have to agree to disagree on OJ. :pachaha:

But thank you for pulling up FACTS and EVIDENCE on what Hogan said. Too many people commenting haven't actually heard what he said, so they just dismiss it as "people make mistakes" or "he didn't mean it in a bad way, y'know like how the rappers say the N word". :mjpls:

I can't say I'm celebrating his death. For me it's about reminding everyone why Black people have no obligation to honor an admitted anti-Black racist and the principle of never letting anti-Black racism slide no matter how "cool" or influential that person was. It's about Black self-respect.

For those who want to forgive Hogan's racism, cool.. just don't go around telling Black people they should honor an anti-Black racist.
