i don't know if I can keep watching this show. All the teens have emotional issues for nothing. The one time something significant almost happens with the blond girl they don't even want to it out loud and address it. And the powers are level so far. Some people have powers and some don't . The black people just happen to be gang affiliated and ex-cons and shyt. Like, come on now.

I think I like this better than The Gifted right now.

Its dark but not too dark if you know what I mean. Idk i just look forward to seeing what happens. Its completely different from your average superhero show and the villains being the parents (more or less) makes it even more interesting

Like I posted before, Runaways have never really been about the powers. At the end of the day, It's a teenage drama show that happens to involve superpowers.

None of the powers are all that interesting either, it was like that in the comics. The only thing they switched up were the parents and making Chase a genius.

I enjoy gifted more just because they actually have cool powers. At the end of the day the thought of kids with powers brought me into the show. Since they're powers aren't all that and the overall story isn't something I consider great I think its just a solid show. Glad they added my dude Christian from nip/tuck tho. He's always good

Yeah, so far the show definitely has a different vibe than other comic book shows on TV. I like the fact a lot of secrets came out in this episode from the affair, to Chase's dad being sick, to Karolina somewhat

I still they they are being a little heavy handed with all the teen relationship angst, but it seems to being forward somewhat.

Walk in to your wife riding another man and let her tell you to get out brehs . I thought Karolina's fake dad was really , but it looks like they drugged him to make him forget about Jonah .

Nico's mom was looking with her hair down, she and Leslie might be tied for 2nd place among the parents. With Alex's mom taking the top spot

The Gifted > this show and i've watched both of the latest episodes back to back

Some of the writing on this show is cringe worthy, like CW shyt and the episode where they "fight back" against the Crip guy using their powers was embarrassing.

Last episode was dope.

Honestly, i really like this show. I like it better than Gifted imo.

It's just different and unpredictable without being weird direction wise. More down to earth. And we haven't still seen them in action really. Plus there's so many twists and secrets... Still don't know wtf Jonah is and why he's forcing them to do shyt. The fact that Karolina chick is gay but Chase hasn't caught on, the secret of Molly and her parents, Gert still hasn't used her dinosaur to do shyt, them trying to get their parents arrested while still being emotionally attached to them, Niko dad simpin over that busted chick, Chases dad going insane, etc.

It's just a more interesting show imo. Aliens, witches, mad scientists, time travelers, mutants, Dinosaurs, etc. Just so much shyt going on
