You speak like a person who hasnt had gun to thier head. Sometimes mutiple guns at different times.
Its aggraviating. My uncles went through in the LES and knickbocker brooklyn.
We all have a tip over point.
@Luke Cage aint bullshyttin.
it costs less money and time to just let mfs go once they exit the store. They dont even care about the merchandise, (they just want you to) just leave the fukking store. Their workers arent going to start a royal rumble or shootout in aisle 7 have some old lady, kid or some random person get injured or killed while they wrestle and chase some shoplifter. The store isnt going to have insurance cover the worker when their orbital gets fractured, or ankle or hand gets broke. The store has to cough that up if a bystander/shopper gets hurt, not the thief/suspect.
The businesses know this.
Research businesses that have sued police departments when shoplifters/thieves/burglars, people fighting have been assaulted or killed.
You think walgreens just wants to file a report and move on, or have someone from their legal department go to trial, have people picketing outside of their store, threatening workers over a 20z and bag of ruffles?
