Weak ass mentality :mjlol:
Wow such a moronic statement. When I see who wrote it and like no shyt a dumb c00n like @Luke Cage would say some shyt like this
It's actually common practice in business, not just a random statement i shat out. Banks would be justiified in arming tellers to prevent robberies, but Finance people like myself realized a long time ago, that you save more money just letting the police deal with it and opting for insurance instead.

Edit: Nevermind i just realized i'm speaking logic to low rep woat banner posters. Carry on with your Rambo fantasies

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
If a robber know you got a gun, they will simply pull the trigger at any sign of movement.

For the most part, robbers won't shoot if they know there are no weapons. Aint nobody trying to catch a murder charge over a couple hundred, and a carton of Newport's.

The robbers who don't give a fukk and will shoot witnesses... it wont matter. They got the drop on you first and come with the element of surprise. If they want you dead, there's nothing you can do about it.

A lot of banks got armed security in high crime areas..:gucci:

Obviously a bodega don’t have the money to hire armed security so it’s “cheaper” if they strap up theirselves.

That weak ass mentally leads to brazen criminal activities. People follow the path of least resistance and will always do that.

Nothing in those bodegas worth the amount of legal fees you'd pay in a justified shooting.

average robber makes off with $300 in cash or smokes. A lawyer will charge you that much just to file a single motion

There is such a thing as commercial crime insurance. much better investment
What about the store owners life?

This is going to end up with one of these a$$holes bodega owners in jail for being idiots. They are going to shoot somebody over a bag or chips and ruin a few people’s lives.

NYC doesn’t deal with vigilantes. They would have to both be threatened and trapped to justify them using their gun. These are not the smartest people in general to begin with so I doubt they’ll understand that until it’s too late. NY doesn’t have a stand your ground law it has a duty to retreat. That is why gun ownership is going to cause a lot of problems and no the SC can’t force NY to have a stand your ground laws

As always fukk Clarence Thomas and the Republican on the Supreme Court for giving these idiots guns

I've always heard you basically have to be a cop or know a cop to get one.

Manhattan DA dismisses murder charges against Harlem bodega worker

By Spectrum News Staff, Joseph Konig, and Dean Meminger Manhattan
UPDATED 8:45 PM ET Jul. 19, 2022 PUBLISHED 11:00 AM ET Jul. 19, 2022

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg filed a motion to dismiss murder charges against Jose Alba, a Harlem bodega worker who fatally stabbed a man after he jumped behind the counter and allegedly attacked Alba.

The charges were dropped after a noon court hearing Tuesday.

“Following an investigation, the People have determined that we cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was not justified in his use of deadly physical force,” Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Sigall wrote in the motion.

The incident, which took place on July 1, resulted in the death of Austin Simon, 35, who police say jumped behind the counter and shoved Alba into a wall after an argument took place between Alba and Simon’ girlfriend over payment for a purchase.

Simon confronted Alba because “he believed that Alba had harshly treated the ten-year-old daughter” of his girlfriend and grabbed a snack out of the daughter’s hand when her mother’s Electronic Benefit Transfer card malfunctioned," Sigall wrote.

Being shoved into a wall has become enough to murder a black man. This city ain't safe.
