I feel yall pain. I just started reading like a month ago since Netflix put the anime up so I was able to go through in one shot. Looks like that's the end of that though.

granted i dont wish nothing bad on dude but just have some one else try to help u out too ease it but at same time i can see why its hard cuz u have a certain vision of making it that it wont fit ur vision of it

I saw Netflix had the anime so thought I should look up the manga...I googled it and saw that it had the nickname Hiatus x Hiatus

I knew I shouldn't have caught up. Something was fishy when I was half way through and the chapters was some chicken scratch. I'm take a year off from reading this (even though I'll probably only miss two chapters ).

Hunter x Hunter Manga to Continue Hiatus

This year's 43rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Yoshihiro Togashi's manga Hunter X Hunter will continue its hiatus. The manga was scheduled to return in the magazine's 41st issue, but Togashi's condition is not as good as expected. The series will return as soon as possible, and the magazine will publish an announcement when the return date is decided.

This year's 39th issue announced that the manga would go on a two-week hiatus due to Togashi having lower back pain. The manga also went on a brief hiatus in July, and Togashi resumed his manga in June after a hiatus of more than two years.

Does Togashi have serious health issues or is he just tired of the mangaka daily grind?? He can get assistants to help.

Only a combined 4 chapters in 2009 and 2013?

I agree...at this point he should just do the story/dialogue and have somebody else draw it if he's having health issues like that. At the rate we're going this series will never get an ending, or if there is one it'll be incredibly rushed and won't do the series justice.

I'm saying....we all joke about Bleach and Kubo but this guy Togashi is on another level.

I've just started reading the HxH manga and watching the anime. Its hard to believe fans been dealing wit this disappearing act for years now.

Yep.

Hunter x Hunter started over a year before One Piece (1998); yet right now One Piece has 761 chapters and Hunter x Hunter hasn't even hit chapter 350 yet.

Hell, even Fairy Tail hit Chapter 400 and that started like 8 years after Hunter x Hunter. I understand dude (supposedly) has health issues but it's frustrating for such a good manga to get that type of treatment.

plus his art is ass anyway. bunch of lil asian dudes that draw better than him that prolly wanna get a start in the field.
