To the few good people in Texas, your politicians words and actions during Sandy still sting to this day, you're collateral damage but, I hope your state fukking drowns for good. My first apartment was completely gutted by Sandy, my apartment at the time had a foot of water in it, I still have family whose home is in ruins because of Sandy, it's personal for me. I guess it's true though, everything in Texas is bigger, even the floods lol

I don't support any federal relief for Texas. They need to handle all that themselves:beli:

It isn't our fault completely....Cruz is part of a district that was germanded to weaken non-republican voters. We live in a Republican tyranny. We non-republicans have no say in government outside of city officials.

What's the name of the wealth preacher olsteen??

Is is true that he denied evacuees shelter at his mega church ?:lupe:
Well he didn't "deny" evacuees. I don't think anyone went to the church and got turned away. He's receiving criticism because he didn't open the church doors for evacuees.

My religious opinion aside, he got put on blast because he thought folks were fine with "just" prayer.

Joel Osteen shuts megachurch amid flooding crisis

The perpetually smiling pastor told followers on Twitter on Monday to lean on their faith.

“Jesus promises us peace that passes understanding,” he wrote. “That’s peace when it doesn’t make sense.”

But Osteen’s comforting words didn’t sit well with critics, who want to know why the doors to his 16,800-seat arena at his Lakewood Church near downtown Houston are closed.

“You have taken so much money away from your people to live like a king,” entertainment publicist Danny Deraney blasted. “It’s the least you could do.”

Washington, DC-based writer Charles Clymer tweeted pictures of Lakewood Church, which did not appear to be damaged by floods.

“It doesn’t make sense why you’re not opening up your mega church to house Houston citizens, help me understand that. Jesus,” according to Florida-based writer Emily Timbol.

While the church and its arena have not suffered any flood damage yet, ministry spokesman Donald Iloff said their property is inaccessible because of surrounding waters.

And it makes no sense to open church doors when the city and county are already treating thousands of flood victims at the nearby George R. Brown Convention Center, according to Iloff.

“It has everything inside there — medicine, doctors, places to sleep,” Iloff said of the convention center. “It’s amazing what they’re doing there to make people comfortable.”

Why was this post flagged?

This dude has said plenty of suspect shyt in the past worth flagging but I see nothing wrong with that post...

I also do not support any federal relief aid for the state of Texas just like they voted against relief aid for my city when Sandy hit us...

fukk all that they go low we go high shyt...You can't deny us aid and then expect a handout when one of your cities get wrecked...You get nothing because when the proverbial shoe was on the other foot you decided to be an indecent piece of shyt...

Karmas a bytch...
