if you live in atlanta or the surrounding cities like me (snellville) you need to be prepared. moving here from california, we love it but these damn georgia pine trees. i gotta get 2 more chopped down tomorrow - 1200. of the them trees dead and the other one is already bent. we had a tropical storm hit back in 2019 or 2018. we were out of power for 3 days. shyt was like the walking dead man. i went out today and grabbed some more batteries and candles. them winds was so high the last time, i was looking out the back window at them trees and said fukk it. all i could do is go upstairs and look for my USAA homeowners insurance papers :laugh: thanks god nothing fell and hopefully its not as bad this time around. but last time nikka them winds was HEAVY

hurricane irma

marta stopped running midnight before, no buses no trains, i had to get a ride home from work, mom though it was a good day to get some tires, drove me all the way to Lawrenceville, place was closed. Contact number led to a full mail box, dude was a scammer. We had to take the street way from there. fifteen minutes (at noon) of finally getting back to the house, the power went out and stayed out for five days. Landlord said his restaurant business was more important.

in hindsight, i should have just quit the job and took Marta home, when I could.

I'm worried most about the power going out :sadcam: it is HOT in this state :whew: AC goes out I'm gonna sweating like the dude who sung the hook on Gangsta Paradise :damn:
