I don't know about all that.

What I do know is that every married man in the world will be fighting a losing battle against his wife's inevitable descent into existential depression.

That's the one where she can't describe why but she's "just not happy". It will, however, somehow be her husband's fault.

Whether or not they choose to cheat / leave as a result of that depression is non-deterministic.

If you're not one yourself, I know you've around middle aged married men talking like this.
