An Egyptian man dropped dead in court during a case involving his wife’s demand for a divorce on the grounds he is mean, newspapers reported on Sunday.
The judge at the court in the capital Cairo was asking the wife of four children about her reasons for seeking divorce when the husband collapsed.
The report said the unnamed husband, who owned many furniture shops, was rushed to hospital but was already dead after suffering from a heart attack.
“When he collapsed, his wife lay near him and started weeping and saying ‘Where are you going... to whom are you leaving us,” a court source said.
