They have the strength and game for it but take the athletic hit. That’s what I meant with breeds I listed. I think the Kangal and Anatolian are the biggest and strongest build a dog can have without sacrificing athleticism. The other breeds being slightly larger are less agile. The most agile of the ones I listed, the Dogo, takes a bit of ding on the size for more athleticism but probably is the most game for cougars out of the rest since that’s what they were bred for.

I'm getting it free of charge, my uncle is a breeder. The sire is a very large but healthy older male with multiple hunts to him, they've used him in the everglades along other dogos to catch boar. I'd hunt with them myself but mine is just gonna be a house/guard dog since I'm only getting one. Pet quality if I had to say but he's a bad mfer
