I'd be better off selling a duplex I bought when he was born and using that money for flight school.

My grandpa told me never be a landlord. Way too much stress for the amount of money you make. Had to deal with people fukking up his properties, not paying rents, evictions all that. That shyt not a hustle, just a hard ass hell job.

Buy a house, then owner finance them to other people, essentially becoming the bank. All the benefits of being a landlord without being a landlord.

College or high school? Mine was smart enough to buy a house near campus at age 19 and rent it out to other college students. Living rent free. Now making a profit. She did this, I just sat back and watched her dream move into motion. Wished as parents we all showed our kids how to do this.

@hicksreport just depends… Do you want the duplex move-in ready? Or are you willing to fix it up a little (just cosmetic, nothing major)? DM me and let’s talk more!
