What's hilarious is that a week after the game is released they would have forgotten about it already.

Alot of our entertainment is disposable. We watch/read/play something and quickly discard it and wait for the new shiny thing. Rarely do you have something that's so profound and amazing that it gets remembered for years to come (i.e.: Avengers Endgame, Breath of the Wild, GTA5, etc.)
