Don't listen to this guy.

I would rather people like YOU not listen to me. Or quote me. Or even think about mentioning me or talking about anything I said, or even telling your friends about me.
Like I said, y'all don't deserve me.
Roll over and fall asleep. The message isn't for you, dunny.

Those kids already have their own name. Why should they change it?
As for her, why can't she just use her maiden name?
Really doesn't matter though if she's a divorcee.

Yeah, the topic isn't about the kids changing their names. I wouldn't expect her to change the name of the kids.
I was just concerned with the thought of her keeping her ex-husband's name and then hyphenating it with her new husband's name.
So let's say her ex-husband's last name was Smith and her kids' last name was Smith. In this scenario, if her new husband's last name is Thomas, her last name would be Angela Smith-Thomas so that she could keep the Smith name in common with her kids.
She'd be in a new marriage with her old husband's name preceding her new husband's name in order to have the same name as her children (who would have the old husband's name).
Hope that makes things a little clearer.![]()
Why are women so scared of taking their husband's last names, so that their children can also take their father (figure's) last name? The only thing men have to claim in this day and age are their children. If the mother is unwilling to do that for her children, she's just causing problems for everyone and isn't worth the trouble.
In the case of a divorced woman, any future children she has with a current husband should result in the children having HIS last name. A man should not have to deal with the issue of a past lover's last name. If a woman is really moving on from another man, she should MOVE onwards and erase whatever she can of the past. But hearing this seems to hurt y'all.
Some of you even seem to be catching feelings.
What's the matter kneegrows? Were your fathers not man enough to tell your mother to take on his family name or hit the curb? No wonder y'all aren't shyt. No man should have to deal with a bytch that's too afraid to let a man have what's his. The man is (or should be) the head of the household and as such he SHOULD have reign over his kingdom, and the fruits of his labor and his QUEEN should belong to him, as should he to his queen and so on.
Everything I spit is the TRUTH, love it or hate it none of you can call me a liar. That's what's good. There's a reason why y'all aren't shyt. I don't even need to preach this to you.
This is why the black community isn't shyt today. We have to deal with trifling matters like this. Black men not willing to stand up, and black women refusing to let black men lead. Instead they lead us all to destruction.
