hypothetical: anybody into the robbery game?

I've dealt with robbery victims. True story.
Me: So what happened?
Victim: I was trying to help this young woman out. She's a single mother and all. I thought I would help her out and buy a new mattress for her daughter. So I delivered it and then I got robbed.
Me: Do you know who it was?
Victim: I don't know who he was.
....more questions and answers...
Me: How do you know this woman?
Victim: <pauses> She's a dancer.
...
Long story short, old white dude in his 50s buys a new mattress for a stripper in her 20s trying to look like a nice guy (or whatever else). He delivers it to her apartment and then gets jumped by her boyfriend and robbed. He got cut by a knife during the robbery. It was a staged robbery.

I remember back in 97/98 me and my friends from my hood went to a clothing store 30 deep and robbed the place , the whole hood was sporting Ice berg , avirex & pelle pelle that winter

with cctv on every fukking corner. its easy to rob a place now show me how to get away without a car. 
Balaclava, wear layers so you can't be identified by body shape, target shops that ain't on the high street, have your back route escape planned, don't brag about it after the hypothetical fact.

hypothetically speaking i dont feel comfortable robbing a place with a knife. i cant afford a gun at all. people like to get brave in robberies thinking they heroes. id feel a lot more comfortable if i had something to pop off. hypothetically.
