?The only way a person could be held accountable is if they knew and willingly gave the person a particular medication / over the counter meds not authorized by a doctor that can potentially cause side affects which can lead to death.
No... it’s a over the counter drug not a prescription given by a doctor to you
Dead man tells no talesHow would anyone know you gave them the drug if there was a conversation between two people... one was you and other is dead![]()

NO. YOU HAVE PHYSICALLY GIVE THEM THE DRUG. YOU HAVE TO INJECT, FEED, OR HELP THEM TAKE IT TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED LIABLE.
Look up the good samaritan law it's pretty much what you're asking I think. This dude sued the police dept bc that left him underwater in a pool for 2 minutes bc of this law. If somebody was choking and you saved them but hurt their back they can sue. Makes you not want to help anybodyEvery time I make a thread with these kind of questions y'all assume that I'm the one that I'm asking about. It's funny!
No one was killed.
I know the doctors have protections put in place, but what about for someone that's not a doctor.
Sidney Deane, I said over the counter drug though, so that could be something as simple as aspirin. Would the person providing the aspirin still be held accountable?

Not true. If it’s an OTC drug, supplying it to an adult isn’t illegal. The liability would land at the feet of the manufacturer if a determination of fault was reached. The person providing the drug would only be subject to prosecution and/or civil judgment if the drug was an illegal narcotic or an illegally obtained prescription.Yesyou give anybody a drug whether consensual or not and they die that makes you liable by law.

This not ture. If the state think you gave someone any illegal substances that caused they death you getting charged up to murder 3 or less. It don't matter if you physically inject, feed, or help. IF THEY GOT IT FROM YOU AND IT'S ILLEGAL YOU GETTING CHARGED..
If you give peanuts to somebody and didn't know they had a deadly allergy are you going to go to prisonIf someone's Grandpa asks you for an OTC drug, you give it to them, they take it, and then they die... can you be held responsible or even a accused of second-degree murder?
They may have had a medical condition that they never disclosed, so you would have been ignorant of the fact of how some regular drug that they can buy in Walgreens or Target would have affected them.
Any Coli lawyers know what the outcome would be? Would you pretty much be safe from being held accountable as long as there were no signs of malicious intent?
