A: If you were the Pakistan authorities or someone else in charge of the response to this situation, where the Taliban is holding 13 civilian hostages inside a bus, and in order to save them you have to shoot 12 other civilians, how would you proceed?


B: The Taliban is holding 12 civilian hostages in a bus, who are all infected/poisoned and dying but are currently in no major pain. Outside the bus is one civilian who will die unless the Taliban and the 12 hostages inside the bus are blown up, how would you proceed?

A. Instead of shooting 12 to save 13, and possibly leaving the hostage takers alive, I'd rather blow up the bus. I'm not killing to save. If possible I'd get a team of snipers to wipe em out though.

B. Blow up the bus. They're dying anyway. We're just letting them get their 72 underage virgins faster.
