It's absolutely a bad thing. Like buying a brand new car, then crashing it the first day. Don't go soft on GSW fans, they need to be mocked.
It's one of thing if they were humble or just about their business, but these nikkas (both the team and their fans) are arrogant as fukk. They deserve to get it when they falter.

And to be honest, them losing will be a good thing for the NBA. There is more to basketball than shooting 3s.

It was already dubious regardless of the playoff outcome since plenty of those wins came from extremely biased officiating and dumb lucky shyt like opponents missing layups at the buzzer :mjlol:

Nah nikka, 73-9 ain't shyt. It gets that *.

All GSW stans will deserve that work, especially the ones who celebrated 73-9. It's like celebrating getting a girl's number, but then not smashing. Only losers do that.
How is it an asterix though?

They and the fans WILL get that work if they don't win a title but the regular season isn't invalidated.

OKC winning would be the greatest playoff run ever.

Why would a regular season record get an asterisk? It has nothing to do with the playoffs.

It is invalidated. Their fans and media made too big a deal of it, so now comes their comeuppance. They didn't learn their lesson after the 07 Pats or 01 Mariners.
