I think they're trying to elevate the entire brand with these luxury models as oppose to creating a separate one. Eventually Hyundai will sell more than some japanese companies

People still associate them with being cheap in 2013.. to me separation would be a better strategy.

DRIVE a Genesis before you shyt on it. trust me, you will be changing your tune QUICKLY. i test drove a genesis 4.6 when i was shopping for a car, and i was seriously at the performance, ride quality, and the interior materials. truly a top notch car. and that comes from someone who has owned a mercedes. i wouldn't put it above anything german, but definitely a Japanese car manufacturers nightmare. and i'm sure the new genesis will be status as well....don't sleep brehs....
