The RZA has the connects to call some of the most powerful producers in the game and have them work on the next WU TANG album because it would be an honor for them to.

Imagine a WU TANG album produced by:

-Kanye West
-DJ Premier
-Dr. Dre
-Alchemist
-Just Blaze
-Q Tip
-Pharrel/Swizz beatz
-DJ Quik
-Large Professor
-Pete Rock
-Rick Rubin

Sprinkled in with RZA overseeing the project. The way he did with Supreme Clientele. RZA produced 4 tracks on that. He can still get Carlos Broady, Allah Mathematics and others from the Wu Camp.

At the end of the day, being a big supporter of WU TANG since day one. I am sad to see my favorite group go out this way. People grow apart, money changes things but sometimes the greats learn to play different positions. Give Rae percentage ownership of the project. If Mitchell Divine Diggs can have Executive Producer credits, so should Rae if he is asking for it.

If it's for the fans, RZA needs to let go...if it isn't about the money than RZA and his brothers need to do better business.

For everyone's information: Executive producers for "Only built for cuban Linx" were Oli "Power" Grant, Mitchell Diggs, Dennis Coles, Robert Diggs

Ownership! After 20 years just let it go and give your brothers what they ask for.

A sad day for me as a fan. Peace

rza has already said a number of times he would step back if the other brothers made the calls to the other producers, he just wasn't personally going to make those phonecalls. at the end of the day there's not much more you can really ask the man to do. plus the wu-elements have already been confirmed as making beats for the album, its not all rza production this time.

rae was way outta line. not only has rza been the main/only one really pushing for this last album for the last two years, and is doing the beats without his regular asking fee, but he also has offered to let the others take the helm and call whatever producers they want. but rae want rza to do all the groundwork and call up the other producers cause he personally think rza dont got it no more. thats flat out disrespectful to demand that, meanwhile rae just wanna come in and lay down some verses. thats like telling a plumber to call his other plumber friend to come fix the sink. that would be like rza telling rae he aint feeling his rhymes no more so he wants rae to call up pusha t and get him to pen some verses for rae to use. you want other producers to work on the album, you call em. you follow em up. you book the studio time. you organize for them to get paid. you take some fukking charge in getting the album done. if you aint willing to do that, dont go complaining cause rza aint gonna do it for you.

i agree, as a fan this whole shyt has left a sour taste, but i dont blame rza at all. by all accounts he is the only one really putting in the effort to give the fans one last album. rae talking all sideways in interviews is what really fukked me up. if he cared about it as much as he thinks he does he would be out there tryna get the shyt done. but instead he tryna get the f.i.l.a. mixtape out.

The only outsider that I see NOT compromising the Wu Tang brand is Kanye West...

But RZA needs to do the initial beat, and ask Kanye West to just spice it up a little bit...

Wu Tang at this point should be selling their brand to their core fan base, not try to have a "popular sound"...Today's production is anti-lyrics...There is no need to spit when the beat grabs 90% of the listener's attention...

We know the Wu as spitters over minimalist erratic beats, that's what they need to stick to...
