SOHH ICEY N.O.
New Orleans, really boring, and bourbon street smells like straight ass. I couldn't drink shyt, was nauseous without a drop of liquor in my system shyt smelled like what I imagined a cac orgy would with big fat bytches.
people from the city don't go on burbon on the regular. That's not an attraction in the city to people that's from the city all, unless it's Mardi Gras time or they having all star weekend or some shyt

I just came back...went for a bachelorette trip.

I loved it! It reminded me of a third world country The food was great, the people, sounds, words, architecture etc. my thought was, this is American culture :ohhh:

Anyways, the first day we had dinner at Jacques imo's. After dinner we walked the strip and took pics. And this random Black guy yelled that "we must not be from there" and we asked him what gave it away? He said, "because we are in the white area" :mjlol:

Anyways, he said that he is an UBeR driver but he is not on the job but offered to give us a tour for a reasonable fee

And we :gladbron: and :lupe:

Hoped in the car drove us around while telling us stories about Katrina, the areas we were driving by, at one point we drove to the museum with a lake and there was an Uber party and he dapped up a guy that was putting signs outside.

Then we were passing by a street can't remember the name, and he said one time he dropped off a customer on that street and he saw a 9ft demon leaining on a pole tapping his foot and that those demons is for when bad people are about to die and they come to claim their souls

The girls were :sadbron: and I was :krs:

He dropped us off (the place we stayed was two blocks from where lil Wayne grew up it was airbnb :ooh: I had no idea where I was staying but the house was big and nice)
After we paid the guy one of the girls asked if she can have his number so that we can request his services .........................

He said my phone is cut off and hopefully with this money I can get it turned back on :deadmanny:

At that point we decided that we need to make better decisions if we want to make it alive

as much as people wanna say its new orleans,to a certain point it is, its those small surrounding towns that are worse

This. I was just about to come here and stay it gets a lot worse outside of New Orleans. People get away with a lot of things in some the smaller cities and town in Louisiana. A lot of creepy, sick shyt going on. I can't even say. There's some sinister places and people down here. No joke bruhs.

bourbon smells like ass because of all the drunken tourists
and the horses and shyt
Any of u nikkas got stories to share
I got one.

So I had temporarily dropped out of college and living with my mom. Mom said you have to work, so I start looking at classifieds (2005 shyt), and I find this job talking a totally good commission. I was like what do I have to sell :jbhmm: so I went to the orientation.

nikka was on some scheming shyt like
"You can make 85 thou a year, easy!!":krs:
"Where you wanna vacation big dog, you ever been to Cabos?"

Let me tell you, at the end of all of it, they brought in the product, which was cologne. The whole time this shyt was being led by a New Orleans nikka named Charles Nero. Being naive as I was, I began to ride around with the teams and try to sell, allowing that nikka to bait our head up about contests for who sells the most, had us running up on random nikkas at gas stations asking them if they are tired of being musty. The way it worked was he would front us the bottles of cologne at 20 dollars apiece, and we would ride throughout the city seeing who would buy them. Whatever we charged people for the bottle over 20 was our profit to keep. Basically sharecropping.

That nikka had two trusty musty sidekicks, both women. I look back now, and I think he had to be pimping these bytches out, and was just using this shyt as a cover. One was good with the money, and the other would flirt with folks to get them to buy her shyt. He hyped us up about a trip to Louisiana to make some real money. At this point I was questioning shyt, but i was too invested to give up now. So we get out to Lafayette, LA and he drops us off on this random ass strip. We do this shyt for like two days, a nikka is pissed, tired, mad, ready to go home, then this nikka heads to New Orleans.

This was right after the storm, but enough time had passed for the first of the checks to start coming to folks. I wanted to go see what was up and how bad it truly was. He took us riding through the city, and you could see abandoned cars under the highway. I saw whole shelters that had collapsed, everything was fukked up. The West Bank was more functional than New Orleans. Pontiacs and coupes everywhere, shyt was lit. Basically I learned down there that he was hustling that cologne shyt to help his family, and while I could respect the hustle, that was my first lesson into watching how nikkas sell you dreams.

Another time I got drunk in Popeyes on Paris Blvd and I ran out of a strip club on Bourbon St. with a $400 tab and never looked back

@nawlinsnfinest or anyone else from Louisiana

You got any family members or friends that just totally change one day? Like go from being normal, listening to rap, playing basketball and talking shyt to being really quiet and weird for the rest of there lives? Shyt kinda common around me.
