I agree alot of his punchlines and shyt aged turrible and that he never really evolved or matured, but the Super Bowl thing would have had to be his songs anyways no mixtape cuts so by definition some of his hardest verses would be left out...

All those singles work for Wayne as a solo artist performing at a sporting event, not even counting getting in the Hot Boyz bag

Its just that hes a raspy voiced, drug addict gremlin with the memory of a gold fish and the stage presence of an epileptic child being showered with bright lights :manny:

he got like 50 projects and you only listed 5 slaps

him & em gotta have the worst catalogs for rappers who are so “great”

both them dudes are bums. Carter 3 is still a fun ass album tho

tune meshes best with ignorance & youth

he is the father/grandfather of all the little vibe rappers of today

nikkas just be high & babbling in front a microphone

great enduring music comes from ordered refined thought

still listen to & enjoy prime mixtape tune but i know it's just entertainment not enrichment of any sort

This is interesting because someone in another thread was using him as an example of a rapper who didn't write down his rhymes yet still had great lyrics.
Wayne had great flows but on paper his lyrics are empty and shallow. He performed them well. Hella similes some metaphors and punches. But his strength was vocal performance and wordplay.
