it was a bet my gay homies were making. i told them to not even bother but they wanted to stunt. i still don't see how that should have escalated to a fight. anyone who was secure would simply say no and solemnly tell the dude to leave him alone, at most.

I get where you are coming from, but its not gonna be a utopian man...people are always going to have biases and if you approach the wrong person, you are risking violence, possibly death. There have been dudes that did what you all did and ended up sleep for good...all this media hype can't hide the fact that there are lots of people that feel very strongly about that lifestyle...especially when you question their masculinity

very true. that's why i wasn't tellin them to not even bother asking because we weren't in a particularly nice part of town and it was very late at night. they still wanted to act goofy. i'm not blaming anything except the alcohol in everyone's veins and despite the fact that the whole situation could have been avoided, i can't help but be disappointed. the same people that were shaking my hand and telling me shyt like "you're the next chappelle!" and "you've got great timing!" are telling me "i'll stomp your fakkit ass!" within the same hour.

4 dudes wanted to crush my skull in because my home asked one of them if they were gay. these dudes were all late 30s and wanted to take it outside.

i told them that they would be committing a double hate crime for beating up a queer black dude. we ended up defusing the situation.

then one of these dumb ass CACs tried to tell me that trayvon deserved to die. i'm damn near tired of living in this word. people are so blatantly ignorant that it makes me sick to my stomach.

i totally understand where you're coming from but to put things in perspective, there were several lesbian couples all hugged up at this sausage fest of a dive bar. nobody's pride was on the line. while i knew the vibe of the place and didn't really get out of pocket, so to speak, these 'mos wanted to stunt. i just don't see why that is a reason to actually try to fight someone. on top of that, the gay dudes that harassed these so and so's dipped. they were people i'm only casually acquainted with and now i'm in the middle of 4 men with bruised egos. at no point is that acceptable behavior for men in their late 30s, imho.
